Motivation is a key component of student success. But what does that really mean? What is motivation? How can faculty identify motivational issues early in the semester? What can faculty do to enhance student motivation? In this session, we will briefly discuss research findings about motivation from the fields of education and addictions counseling. We will also identify methods to assess and enhance motivation.
